Children’s trilingual poets’ meet in Dharwad

The Children’s Academy Dharwad has organised 22nd “Makkala Tribhasha Kavi Ghosti”, a children’s trilingual poets’ meet in Dharwad on August 30.

According to a press release by Children’s Academy, children can write in any one of three languages namely English, Kannada or Hindi/Urdu and students of class VIII to X can participate.

The budding poets can submit their literary works in the form of short poems, couplets, limericks. Sonnets and other forms. Winners will be given attractive prizes and certificates and the entries should be sent to the academy before August 28, the release said.

The poets’ meet will be held at Tej Auditorium, Vithal Institute of Child Health & Specialty Centre in Dharwad at 3 p.m. on August 30.
