CISCE result 2026: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations will release the ICSE Class 10 results for the 2026 main examinations today at 11:00 AM. The results will be made available through official digital platforms, allowing candidates to access their marks shortly after the announcement.
The declaration will be made through an official communication from the board.Students who appeared for the examination will be able to retrieve their scorecards using their login credentials once the results are declared. The board has continued its digital-first approach, ensuring that candidates across the country can check and download their results without depending on physical distribution at the initial stage.Steps to check ICSE result on official websiteCandidates can access their ICSE results by visiting the official CISCE website or the dedicated results portal. Once on the homepage, students are required to select ‘ICSE’ from the course dropdown menu. After selecting the correct option, they must enter their Unique ID, Index Number, and the CAPTCHA code displayed on the screen.Upon submission of these details, the result will appear on the screen.
Students can then download the marksheet and use the print option provided to obtain a physical copy for reference. This process ensures a direct and structured method for accessing results.Access through DigiLocker platformIn addition to the official website, results will also be available through the DigiLocker portal. Students must enter their Index Number, Unique ID, and Date of Birth as recorded on their admission card.
After submitting these details, the marksheet will be displayed and can be downloaded for future use.This additional platform provides an alternative route for candidates, particularly during periods of high traffic on the main result websites.Key post-result timelines and proceduresFollowing the declaration of results, students who wish to apply for a recheck can do so within the specified window from May 1 to May 4, 2026.
The application must be submitted through the CISCE Service Portal. A fee of Rs 1,000 per paper is applicable for this process.The recheck results are expected to be declared in the first week of June. Candidates who remain unsatisfied after this stage will have the option to apply for re-evaluation. This process will open one day after the recheck results and remain available for three days. The re-evaluation fee is Rs 1,500 per subject.Improvement examination and result access for schoolsStudents seeking to improve their marks can register for the improvement examination between May 8 and May 14, 2026. The examination is scheduled to begin from June 15, 2026, onwards. The results of the improvement examination are expected in the last week of July.Meanwhile, schools can access detailed result data through the CAREERS portal. By logging in with principal credentials, institutions can view tabulation registers and comparison tables, allowing structured analysis of student performance. Physical result documents will be dispatched to schools at a later stage through the conveners.
