A case has emerged in Madhya Pradesh involving the sudden disappearance of a woman preparing to become a civil judge. When 28-year-old Archana Tiwari failed to disembark at Katni station, her family began searching for her. Her bag was later discovered at the next station, Umaria, but she has remained missing since.
The incident took place aboard the Indore–Bilaspur Narmada Express. Katni Railway Police Sub-Inspector Anil Maravi said that Archana, who had been living in Indore while preparing for the judicial services exam, boarded the B-3 coach on the morning of August 7 to travel to her hometown in Katni, India Today reported.
However, after the train reached Katni station, Archana didn’t get off. As the train left the station, her worried family members informed relatives living in the next city, Umaria, which was scheduled to make a stop. On reaching Umaria, the relatives went to her coach and found her bag, but she was not there.
Alarmed by the incident, Archana’s family immediately informed the railway police in Katni. They told officers that their last conversation with her was around 10:15 a.m. that day, during which she mentioned the train was near Bhopal. Shortly after, her phone was found switched off.
According to the initial investigation, Archana was seen at Rani Kamlapati station in Bhopal. However, after Bhopal, the co-passengers did not see her on the train.
Presently, the railway police have registered a missing report and are searching for clues from CCTV footage and mobile locations. However, the sudden disappearance of an educated girl preparing to become a civil judge has become a major puzzle for both the police and her family.
