In 'Classroom Of The Elite' season four, we see Ayanokōji and his classmates begin their second year at the Advanced Nurturing High School. Their group is greeted by a fresh set of exams and a new batch of first-year students. The first special exam pairs first-years with second-years on a written test; only the second-years face expulsion if their team performs poorly.

The main focus of the season is a new student sent from the White Room by the school chairman specifically to target Ayanokōji.
