CM and Ministers in Delhi; to join Rahul’s yatra in Bihar today

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy left for New Delhi on Monday to meet legal luminaries and discuss 42% reservations for the Backward Classes, the Bills of which are pending with the President.

Mr. Reddy along with Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Ministers Uttam Kumar Reddy, Ponnam Prabhakar, Sridhar Babu, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy and Seethakka met senior Supreme Court lawyer Abhishek Singhvi, who also represents Telangana in the Rajya Sabha.

Mr. Vikramarka told the media in New Delhi that they would consult Constitutional experts on going ahead with 42% reservations for BCs in the local bodies. The Ministers will also meet Justice Sudershan Reddy and others to take their advice.

The Chief Minister and all the other Ministers will leave for Bihar on Tuesday and join in Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra.’
