Patna: CM Samrat Choudhary on Thursday urged BJP workers to maintain close coordination with officials while remaining vigilant against irregularities, saying effective cooperation was essential for the successful implementation of govt schemes.Addressing newly appointed party office-bearers at the BJP state headquarters in Patna, Samrat said party workers played a crucial role in connecting the govt with the public.“The party workers should cooperate with the officials as they are the ear and nose of the govt. But if you find any irregularity, bring it to my notice,” he said.Union health minister J P Nadda, who also attended the meeting, called on party office-bearers to strengthen the BJP’s grassroots presence by reaching out to villages and bringing new sections of society into the organisation.“BJP is not merely a political party but a robust organization working with a resolve for nation-building. The true strength of the organization lies in its dedicated workers and a structure that is active right down to the booth level,” he said.Nadda urged party workers to take the welfare and development initiatives of the Narendra Modi-led Centre and the Bihar govt to every household and maintain regular contact with the public.
BJP state vice-president Haribhushan Thakur Bachol said Nadda had asked party functionaries to camp in villages and connect with intellectuals and new members to expand the organisation.The meeting, attended by Union minister Giriraj Singh, BJP state general secretary (organisation) Bhikhubhai Dalsania and MP Sanjay Jaiswal, focused on strengthening organisational activity, improving coordination among workers and preparing for upcoming party programmes.Later, Nadda and Samrat offered prayers at the Hanuman temple near Patna Junction.
