CM Yogi Adityanath meets complainants at Janata Darshan, directs officials to take action on grievances

LUCKNOW: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met over 50 complainants during Janata Darshan at his Lucknow residence on Monday. Most of them came with matters related to land disputes.A woman from Saharanpur came with a complaint against the ration dealer in her area.

The CM directed officials to take strict action against him. “The lady complained that she did not have a ration card and, when she went to collect ration, the dealer misbehaved with her.

Taking serious note of this, the CM directed strict action against the accused and reiterated that every public servant must treat citizens with respect. He also warned that any form of misconduct will not be tolerated,” said a govt spokesperson.Among the cases of land dispute that the CM heard, a CRPF jawan from Prayagraj sought the govt’s intervention in a land issue. The CM instructed the local administration to resolve the matter at the earliest. In a second such case, a woman whose husband is posted in Assam complained to the CM that she was finding it difficult to take possession of her land in Prayagraj several days after purchasing it. In this case too, the CM directed officials to take quick action, the official added.

Among other issues, one Manju Devi Tripathi requested financial assistance for her medical treatment at Apollo Hospital. The CM asked her to submit a hospital estimate so that the govt could cover the treatment expenses.Udham Yadav, a differently-abled person from Ghazipur, sought an increase in pension along with facilities such as an Ayushman card, a hand pump, and housing. The chief minister directed officials to address his issues immediately and extend to him the benefits of govt schemes. He also personally handed over an electronic walking stick to him.The CM also interacted with the children who accompanied their parents to the Janata Darshan.
