Former Kerala Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan continues to remain in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a private hospital, with no improvement in his condition, hospital sources said.
He was admitted on June 23 following a cardiac arrest and age-related ailments.
The latest medical bulletin issued by the hospital on Saturday said the 101-year-old leader remains in the ICU and his condition is unchanged.
The bulletin did not provide further details about his treatment.
Mr. Achuthanandan, a towering figure in Kerala politics, has mostly stayed away from public life in recent years.
He served as the State’s Chief Minister from 2006 to 2011.
