Ludhiana: Police have dismantled a prostitution racket operating out of a residential home here, arresting seven people including a married couple.The raid was triggered by an anonymous tip dropped into the grievance box outside the Khanna senior superintendent of police's office. The complaint alleged that a local house was being used as a front for human trafficking and immoral activities.Following a discreet verification process by investigators, teams raided the property and apprehended the suspects inside. All seven individuals face multiple charges under the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act.Local police officials confirmed that the house had been under surveillance before the crackdown. Investigators are currently interrogating the suspects to determine how long the network had been operating, map out their financial transactions, and identify any external associates or additional properties linked to the ring.
