Congress holds talent hunt auditions for Patna zone

Congress held a talent hunt in Patna, inviting aspirants for key communication and organizational roles. State president Rajesh Ram, national spokesperson Chitra Batham, and convener Asit Nath Tiwari led the selection process. This open initiative aims to provide equal opportunities for individuals seeking positions like spokesperson and researcher, marking a unique approach in political party recruitment.

Patna: Several aspirants from the Patna zone gathered at Sadaqat Ashram, the state headquarters of the Congress, on Tuesday to participate in auditions and interviews under the party’s ongoing talent hunt programme.

The exercise, which has been underway for the past three days, was dedicated to candidates from the Patna zone on Tuesday.The selection process was conducted under the leadership of state Congress president Rajesh Ram, national spokesperson Chitra Batham and convener Asit Nath Tiwari. Retired IAS officer Goakhnath and Abhishek Kumar served as experts for the occasion.The initiative aims to provide an opportunity for individuals to compete for organisational roles such as spokesperson, panelist, researcher and media management positions.

The auditions and interviews are being held in accordance with pre-defined subjects and guidelines.Addressing the gathering, Batham said for the first time in the country, a political party is directly selecting individuals for key communication and organisational posts through an open process, ensuring equal opportunity for aspirants.Meanwhile, Rajesh Ram also constituted a three-member protocol committee to manage the arrival and departure of senior party leaders. The committee comprises Shashi Ranjan, Raushan Kumar Singh and Kumar Diwakar Singh.
