In a scandal-plagued week that saw his private life spectacularly unravel, UFC icon Conor McGregor celebrated his 37th birthday not with his family, but reportedly in the arms of a mystery woman in sunny Florida. While his fiancée of four years, Dee Devlin, publicly shared heartfelt birthday messages, the fighter was caught in a passionate embrace on a public beach and later on an intimate dinner date, raising serious questions about the state of his long-term relationship.
The drama unfolded in Fort Lauderdale, where McGregor, who hasn’t stepped into the octagon for nearly four years, was photographed locking lips and packing on the PDA with a bikini-clad brunette. In full view of other beachgoers, the pair’s coastal kiss was anything but discreet.
After a reported brief jet ski ride, the “Notorious" MMA star was seen wrapping his arm around his companion, seemingly lapping up the attention.
The tryst continued days later, on July 13th, when the duo was spotted cosying up at Padrino’s Cuban Restaurant. Tucked away against a wall, the pair shared a meal, with McGregor, dressed in a turquoise ensemble and a trilby hat, looking entirely at ease with the dark-haired woman.
The brazen rendezvous casts a dark shadow over his relationship with Dee Devlin, the mother of his four children. On the very same day as his Cuban dinner date, Devlin shared a touching post from a fan account, which read: “Happy Birthday to the person who always keeps Dee entertained and makes her smile." The poignant message stands in stark contrast to the images emerging from Florida, painting a tumultuous picture of the superstar’s personal affairs.
As if the public canoodling wasn’t enough, McGregor’s week spiralled further into controversy when rapper Azealia Banks leaked what she alleged were unsolicited nude photos sent by the fighter. Banks claimed the messages constituted sexual harassment, adding another layer of scandal to his already tarnished image.
This latest firestorm is just another chapter in the fighter’s increasingly troubled public life. Last year, McGregor was found liable in a civil case for sexually assaulting a woman in 2018. More recently, he was accused of sexual assault following an incident at an NBA Finals game in Miami in June 2023, though Florida prosecutors later declined to pursue criminal charges, citing insufficient evidence.
McGregor has consistently denied all accusations of wrongdoing.
