Conor McGregor’s fiancee, Dee Devlin, has publicly responded for the first time following controversy surrounding the former UFC champion.

Recently, McGregor was seen on a beach in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, sharing an affectionate moment with an unidentified woman, which spurred significant media attention and public speculation. The photographs, showing McGregor embracing the woman and laying down a towel for her, quickly spread online, further fuelling long-standing controversies surrounding the MMA star.

Despite the uproar, Dee Devlin is unfazed. Instead of directly addressing the incident, she took to Instagram to celebrate McGregor’s birthday with a public display of affection. Sharing a fan post that read, “Happy Birthday to the person who always keeps Dee entertained and makes her smile". Devlin included several pictures of herself smiling with McGregor.

How Dee Devlin Defended Conor McGregor?

This is not the first time Devlin has stood by McGregor amid a scandal. In 2024, she was seen leaving the High Court in Dublin alongside McGregor after he was found liable in a civil case involving serious allegations. The court ruled in favour of Nikita Hand, awarding her over £200,000 in damages after she accused McGregor of raping and assaulting her in a hotel penthouse in 2018. McGregor maintained the encounter was consensual and has announced plans to appeal the decision. In a social media post, he admitted to personal failings, writing: “I should never have stepped out on the woman I love the most in the world. That’s all on me." He also pledged to return to training and move forward with his life and career.

Devlin, in turn, released a powerful statement reaffirming her commitment to McGregor. “I love him, I trust him, and I BELIEVE HIM," she wrote. She spoke of their shared life, highlighting the strength of their relationship and their family of six. “Nothing or nobody will change that. Our family stands strong," she added.

Engaged since 2020, McGregor and Devlin have been together for over 16 years and have four children – Conor Jr., Croia, Rian, and Mack. The couple often post photos from their homes in Ireland and Marbella.
