Container touches high-tension wire, driver killed

Jamshedpur: The driver of a container truck died after his vehicle came in contact with an overhead high-tension wire and went up in flames at a weighing station in Adityapur. The deceased was identified as Bharat Das, 35, a resident of Madhya Pradesh.

Das was rescued by police and fire brigade personnel and taken to a nearby hospital where he died, RIT police station in-charge Sanjiv Kumar said.
