A content creator by the name Farhan Balaporia recently shared a video that takes playful digs at actor Vijay Deverakonda without naming him. The video, filled with clever hints, comes after the creator claimed that one of his earlier reels criticizing the 'Kingdom' actor was taken down.

Vijay’s comment

What led to this reel is that in earlier this year, in May, Vijay Deverakonda made a comment comparing his fees to those of Hollywood star Brad Pitt. The actor said Pitt earns 100 times more "because he works in English films," a statement that quickly went viral and triggered widespread ridicule. Social media creators, including Farhan, were among those who made content critiquing the actor's take.

Farhan's Instagram reel hints at Vijay Deverakonda

On Wednesday, Farhan shared a new video on Instagram titled, "actor took down my video."

Without naming Vijay, he began weaving in unmistakable clues. "Now, I can't name him or her, but you will probably be able to guess as I tell the story. By the way, when a lion and tiger have a child, it's called a Liger," he said with a smirk. The reference was hard to miss as 'Liger' was Vijay's much-hyped Bollywood debut that eventually crashed at the box office.

Farhan also made another cheeky line: "I have a friend named Arjun who is never ready on time."

Fans were quick to connect the dots to 'Arjun Reddy', which was Vijay Deverakonda's breakout film.

Why the video was taken down

Explaining the issue, Farhan revealed that his earlier video critiquing Vijay's statement was removed. "The video that got taken down is basically him saying that Hollywood has bigger budgets because more people speak English, so the actors get paid more, and therefore they're more successful. My reaction was disagreeing with him, telling him that foreign films in different languages on low budgets have succeeded, whereas his own film with a high budget was unsuccessful," he explained.

The problem is not the budget or the language, it's you

He added that he couldn't re-upload. Instead, said to post a new version where he himself would act out the part.On the work front, Vijay Deverakonda was last seen in 'Kingdom', which was released on July 31. The film is now streaming online.
