AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Wednesday slammed the Uttar Pradesh government over its last year's order, asking eateries to display their owners' names on the Kanwar Yatra route in Muzaffarnagar, alleging that police were harassing shopkeepers and forcing them to remove their pants.

Owaisi questioned why the Yogi Adityanath-led government was not following the Supreme Court's last year's directive that paused its decision that instructed their owners to place boards outside the shops displaying their names and contact numbers on the Kanwar Yatra route.
