Trump, after meeting Zelensky in The Hague, says the Ukrainian leader ‘couldn’t have been nicer’.

US President Donald Trump on Wednesday described his meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in The Hague as warm and cordial, despite past confrontations between the two leaders.
“You know, we had a little rough times sometimes, but he couldn’t have been nicer," Trump said, referring to their talks. His comment appeared to allude to a well-known shouting match between him and Zelenskyy in the Oval Office earlier this year.
Zelenskyy released photos of him conversing with his American counterpart, where he was seen donning a black suit. The suit reminded observers of Trump’s jibe at the Ukrainian leader for wearing combat outfit – which Zelenskyy wears to show solidarity with soldiers fighting the war against neighbour Russia.
“I had a good meeting with the President of the United States in The Hague," the Ukrainian President said in a tweet.
“I congratulated President Trump on the successful operation in the Middle East," he said referring to the US strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities earlier this month.
