The Andhra Pradesh High Court has granted interim relief to former CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in connection with the death of a YSRCP supporter during his rally in Guntur. Citing the inevitability of accidents despite precautions, the court remarked, “Even at the Kumbh Mela, mishaps occur.”
On June 18, a 53-year-old man, C Singayya, was killed after one of the vehicles in Jagan Reddy’s convoy ran him over at Satanapalle in Palanadu district, during the rally.
