A day after a fire tragedy at Goa’s Romeo Lane club killed 25, the government has intensified its crackdown on the controversial nightclub chain, tightening the noose around its founders. The Goa Police is expected to issue a look-out notice against Gaurav and Saurabh Luthra, the club’s owners, amid allegations that the licence was granted without the required documentation.
Four people were arrested in connection with the inferno on Sunday, and the fifth accused, a manager who oversaw daily operations, was arrested on Monday in Delhi.
