Cyber awareness programme organised for NCC cadets

A cyber safety awareness programme was conducted by the Cyber Crime Police Station, Karimnagar, for the NCC cadets at Vedira village in Ramadugu mandal of Karimnagar district on Sunday.

The programme was held under the aegis of the 9^th Battalion of NCC, Telangana. Addressing the participants, the speakers highlighted the importance of cyber safety awareness to combat cybercrimes.

They gave tips on preventive measures to avoid falling prey to cybercrimes such as online betting, job scams, phishing, digital arrest and diverse cyber frauds and cyber threats in today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape. Ccybercrime related complaints can be registered on the dedicated helpline – 1930 or cybercrime.gov.in portal, they said.
