The Cyberabad She Teams carried out 152 decoy operations, booking 45 persons for indecent behaviour in public places from August 24 to 30. Petty cases were booked against all offenders who were then sent to counselling sessions.

In addition, 15 fresh complaints were received from women victims through various modes. Alongside enforcement, the teams conducted 69 awareness programmes across different locations and organised four counselling sessions at the Women and Children Safety Wing.

The Family Counselling Centre handled 23 cases of domestic disputes, counselling couples and working towards reconciliation. At the same time, the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) organised awareness drives involving 125 participants, covering issues such as trafficking, social media harassment, child marriages, child labour, stalking, cyber bullying and cyber frauds. Police also highlighted emergency services, including Women Helpline 181, Child Helpline 1098, Dial 100 and Cyber Crime Helpline 1930.

During night raids across Narsingi, Rajendranagar, Sanathnagar and Madhapur, AHTU teams rescued 13 transgenders and two women from prostitution.

In a significant step for school safety, the Suraksha Kavach programme was launched at Shri Ram Academy International School. The initiative focuses on four pillars, including physical safety, cyber safety, psychological safety and road and infrastructure safety.

Women and Child Safety Wing DCP Srujana also met the SSC School Association at Lingampally, discussing plans to expand the programme to over 100 schools.

Meanwhile, Joint Commissioner of Police Gajarao Bhupal held a strategic meeting with school heads on traffic management outside school zones, reviewing current practices and exploring practical solutions to ensure student safety.
