Dhanush's upcoming film 'D54', directed by Vignesh Raja, faces a leak with footage from the sets circulating online. The production house has appealed to fans to stop sharing the clips, while fans are eagerly awaiting official updates. The film, also starring Mamitha Baiju and Jayaram, has generated buzz with its intriguing first look and tagline.
A recent announcement regarding Dhanush's new film 'D54,' directed by Vignesh Raja, has garnered a lot of attention among fans. After the success of ‘Por Thozhil,’ this mystery thriller film directed by Vignesh Raja is being produced on a massive budget.
Now, the film's production company has posted a request on the X site.
"We request our dear fans to support us by not sharing any footage from the sets of #D54. Your cooperation means everything!" wrote the makers as a video from the film set leaked on social media.
Producers step in to control the spread of leaked clips
Fans are reacting enthusiastically to this and demanding an official update on the film. A few weeks ago, producer Isari Ganesh announced that the film's production had been completed and that it would hit the screens in February.
The producers have made this request to prevent the spread of the leaked footage from the film set.
Dhanush’s first look and tagline spark curiosity
Tentatively titled D54, the film is the second collaboration between Vignesh Raja and writer Alfred Prakash after ‘Por Thozhil.’ When the first poster of the film was released, Dhanush was seen standing in a burning field, surprising fans. The tagline, “Sometimes staying dangerous is the only way to stay alive,” hints at the film’s action-packed and mysterious plot.
Then, on Dhanush's birthday, a new still of him standing in an old telephone booth to make a call was released, leading fans to speculate that this was a period film.
A powerful cast and crew for 'D54'
'D54' stars Dhanush, Mamitha Baiju, and Jayaram in lead roles. Suraj Venjaramoodu, Karunas, K.S. Ravikumar, Prithvi Pandiarajan, Kushmitha, Nitin Sathiya, and others have joined the cast in important roles. The technical team is also strong, with music composed by GV Prakash, cinematography by Theni Easwar, and editing by Srijith Sarang.
