‘Dacoit’: Adivi Sesh seeks Bhadrakali blessings ahead of song release; calls Mruanl Thakur starrer a ‘personal journey’

Actor Adivi Sesh will be next seen in the upcoming revenge action drama, ‘Dacoit’, with Mrunal Thakur and directed by Shaneil Deo. Ahead of its release in April, the actor visited the famous Bhadrakali Temple in Warangal.

He went there to seek blessings for the film.

The actor shared a video on his Instagram handle where he gave a glimpse into his visit. He can be seen entering the temple in a stylish and casual white t-shirt and black pants. He is seen praying and sitting in a religious practice. Later, as he made his way out of the temple, he interacted with and clicked pictures with fans waiting outside. Actor talks about ‘Dacoit’

As per a report by IANS, the actor shared that the film has a “personal journey to him.”

He said, “Every film begins long before the cameras roll. Dacoit has been a very personal journey for me, especially because I’ve been involved with the script from the start.”

‘Rubaroo’ song launch

Adivi Sesh also launched the first song of the film, titled ‘Rubaroo’. The song is romantic. It features Sesh and his co-star, Mrunal Thakur. Talking about the song, Sesh said, “Rubaroo is special because it captures the emotional heartbeat of the film, the vulnerability, the connection, and the quiet intensity between these characters.

Launching promotions with this song felt right.”

He added, “Before we begin sharing this story with audiences, I wanted to take a moment to seek blessings and gratitude. We’ve poured a lot into this film, and I’m looking forward to everyone experiencing it in April.”

About ‘Dacoit’

Filmmaker Shaniel Deo marks his directorial debut with the film. The movie tells the story of Adivi Sesh, who plays an angry convict who wants to seek revenge on his ex-girlfriend, played by Mrunal Thakur.

She seems to have betrayed him on a mission, now he is out to hunt her. The film features themes of love, betrayal and vengeance.The film features filmmaker Anurag Kashyap playing a cop, Prakash Raj, Sunil, Atul Kulkarni, Zayn Marie Khan, and Kamakshi Bhaskarla.The film has been simultaneously shot in Telugu and Hindi. It will be able to be released in Tamil.The movie is set to hit the big screens on April 10, 2026.
