As the Buffalo Bills gear up for their season opener, the spotlight has already shifted to Hollywood. Safety Damar Hamlin and several teammates are stepping into a different arena this fall, Hallmark Channel’s Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story.

The Christmas movie blends NFL pride with holiday magic, bringing Bills Mafia directly into Hallmark’s beloved Countdown to Christmas lineup. The film debuts November 22, marking another bold crossover between football and festive entertainment.

Damar Hamlin and Buffalo Bills headline Hallmark’s Holiday Touchdown

Hallmark released the first trailer, offering fans a glimpse of both the romance and the Bills cameos. Actors Holland Roden and Matthew Daddario star as Morgan Quinn, a pediatric doctor, and Gabe DeLuca, the team’s VP of Stadium Development.

Their story of friendship and hidden love unfolds with the Bills’ Highmark Stadium as its backdrop.

The trailer leans into the team’s culture from the start, opening with Roden and Daddario reciting legendary coach Marv Levy’s mantra: “Where else would you rather be than right here, right now?” Running back Ray Davis immediately yells, “Go Bills!” — a chant quickly picked up by Hallmark regular Andrew Walker and others on screen.

Hamlin, Dion Dawkins, and Davis weave into the storyline with witty lines that tie directly to the characters’ romance. In one moment, Dawkins quips, “Who can’t see it?” while Hamlin follows up with, “So obvious.” Their presence adds authenticity while reinforcing the Bills’ connection to their fanbase. The movie will also feature head coach Sean McDermott, tight end Dawson Knox, and other key Bills players. Franchise legends Jim Kelly, Steve Tasker, Thurman Thomas, and Scott Norwood make appearances, creating what Hallmark calls “a winning combination of family, football, and Christmas spirit.”
