. Danica Patrick, a former IndyCar and NASCAR driver who has supported Donald Trump publicly, reacted on Instagram, praising the initial suspension but saying she understood ABC’s choice to bring him back.
She warned that money and ratings will soon decide Kimmel’s future.

Danica Patrick wrote on Instagram that an employer can hire or fire as a business. She posted that Kimmel’s suspension was “totally fine” but that bringing him back makes sense from a business perspective.
Patrick warned, “All that is ever at play, is money. And you better believe if it’s not flowing, something goes. Clock is ticking again.”She also said she thinks Kimmel is not as funny as he used to be and that he must stop making “stupid distasteful emotional jabs” to keep his job. Her reply was first noticed after ABC pulled the show and then reversed course.
