Deepavali special trains announced

The South Western Railway will operate express special trains to clear the extra rush of passengers during the Deepavali festival period.  

Train no. 06561 SMVT Bengaluru–Kollam Express Special will leave SMVT Bengaluru at 3 p.m. on October 16 (Thursday) and reach Kollam at 6.20 a.m. the next day. Train no. 06562 Kollam-Bengaluru Cantonment Express Special will leave Kollam at 10.45 a.m. on October 17 (Friday) and reach Bengaluru Cantonment at 3.30 a.m. the next day.

Train no. 06567 SMVT Bengaluru-Kollam Express Special will leave SMVT Bengaluru at 11 p.m. on October 21 (Tuesday) and reach Kollam at 12.55 p.m. the next day. Train No. 06568 Kollam-Bengaluru Cantonment Express Special will leave Kollam at 5 a.m. on October 22 (Wednesday) and reach Bengaluru Cantonment at 9.45 a.m. the next day.

Train No. 07353 Hubballi–Mangaluru Junction Express Special will leave Hubballi at 4 a.m. on October 17 (Friday) and reach Mangaluru Junction at 11.15 a.m. the next day. Train No. 07354 Mangaluru Junction–Yesvantpur Express Special will leave Mangaluru Junction at 2.35 p.m. on October 18 (Saturday) and reach Yesvantpur at 11.15 p.m. the same day.

Train No. 06229 Yesvantpur–Mangaluru Junction Express Special will leave Yesvantpur at 12.15 a.m. on October 19 (Sunday) and reach Mangaluru Junction at 11.15 a.m. Train No. 06230 Mangaluru Junction-Bengaluru Cantonment Express Special will leave Mangaluru Junction at 2.35 p.m. on October 19 (Sunday) and reach Bengaluru Cantonment at 12.30 a.m. the next day.
