JIND: After becoming the Chief Minister of Delhi, Rekha Gupta will visit her ancestral village for the first time, and the BJP has begun preparations with full enthusiasm.Haryana Deputy Speaker Krishan Lal Middha informed that chief minister Nayab Singh Saini and Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta will address a public rally in Nandgarh village of Jind on July 19.
During this visit, Rekha Gupta—whose ancestral village is Nandgarh, located in the Julana subdivision of Jind—will be presented with a Kothli by all four MLAs, in accordance with Haryana's tradition.
This gesture, given on the occasion of Teej, symbolises the love and blessings of a brother to his sister and is a proud recognition of her as the daughter of the state.The event will witness the special presence of all four MLAs from Jind district: Devender Atri from Uchana Kalan, Ram Kumar Gautam from Safidon, Krishan Bedi, who is also a minister, from Narwana, and Krishan Middha, the Deputy Speaker, from Jind.Krishan Lal Middha visited the village of Nandgarh on Thursday to inspect the arrangements for the upcoming rally. He reviewed the ongoing preparations and issued necessary instructions to the concerned officials.Middha stated that Saturday will be a very special day for the residents of Nandgarh and the entire Jind district. On this day, Rekha Gupta, a native of Nandgarh and the current Chief Minister of Delhi, will be present as a distinguished guest.
He directed officials to ensure proper arrangements for drinking water, electricity, and tenting at the venue, considering the hot and rainy weather. He emphasised that since both the chief ministers of Haryana and Delhi will be attending the rally, the venue should be given a grand and impressive look, with no shortcomings.On this occasion, chief minister Nayab Singh Saini is also expected to announce special gifts for the residents of the region.
One such highlight will be the inauguration of the Maharaja Agrasen Bhavan in Julana, he added.Captain Yogesh Bairagi, who contested the election from Julana town on a BJP seat and faced a defeat of 6,015 votes from Vinesh Phogat, said that all arrangements have been made for the event. People of the area will perform their duties by honouring their daughter, and she will be welcomed, he added.
