A man in Mumbai's Lower Parel area allegedly fired an airgun at a delivery boy over a disagreement about a medicine order. According to police, the incident occurred after the accused became irritated when the delivery boy rang his doorbell multiple times. In a fit of anger, he fired the airgun into the air.

The incident resulted in no injuries, police confirmed.

The complainant stated that the accused had initially ordered medicines over the phone but refused to accept the package, claiming it was incorrect. Following the argument, the accused fired the airgun. The man involved in the incident has been identified as Saurabh Kumar Avinash Kumar Singh.

Both the 35-year-old accused and the delivery boy have been taken to the police station for further questioning.

During the investigation, Singh admitted to ordering medicines from a local store but was annoyed by the delivery boy's persistence. He claimed that the delivery boy’s repeated ringing of the doorbell prompted him to fire the air rifle into the air.
