The Japanese anime film, ‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Infinity Castle,’ is ready to surge the streets of India with high-octane visuals and the storyline depicting the beginning of the end.
With the incredible fanbase that the series has, the upcoming film created history even before its release with 5:00 a.m. shows. Well, while the demon slayers arrive on the silver screen, here’s a glimpse at the previous seasons (arcs).
Unwavering Resolve arc (Season 1)
The iconic season that lays the foundation for action, drama, and a not-so-ordinary story that would win the hearts of the audience. From Tanjiro’s transition from a young boy to becoming a slayer, to finding the raw powers, the season reveals the core of the characters and how they are being shaped – whether it’s constantly yapping or fighting with compassion.
While it’s the longest season, it certainly presents the Demon Slayer’s universe to the viewers perfectly.
Mugen Train arc (Season 2 Part 1)
Mugen Train arc gives a recap of the Mugen Train film that charted the headlines and lists previously. Part one has seven episodes, where the lead characters investigate the train and the disappeared passengers. While the movie impressed many fans, the series caters to the audience who loved the characters a little too much to spend more time with them.
Some even opt to skip the series and watch the movie instead.
Entertainment District arc (Season 2 Part 2)
The entertainment district consists of emotional scenes, whether it’s introducing the villain sibling duo, Gyutaro and Daki, or the demon slayer with multiple wives, according to Screen Rant. The fierce battle helps Tanjiro and his friends prove their worth as they investigate to find the missing wives.
Swordsmith Village Arc (Season 3)
Going deeper into the rabbit hole, the Swordsmith Village Arc introduces even more of Muzan’s demons from the upper rank.
With the elaborate battle and the demon slayer mark that now activates, the season gives significant character growth and a humanistic perspective on the situation.
Hashira Training arc (Season 4)
The last arc of the series, the Hashira Training arc, focuses on the training perspective rather than the dramatic era – giving a hint at the preparations for the dangerous rounds ahead. The season gives a spotlight to the side characters, along with slow-paced segments. The ‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’ series is an adaptation of the widely known manga, which is written by Koyoharu Gotouge. All the seasons are renowned for their unique arcs and are available to watch on Netflix in India, as well as Crunchyroll. The upcoming film, Infinity Castle, would be a trilogy, marking the end of the Demon Slayer arcs.
