Deoghar Man Rescued from Kidnappers Within 24 Hours by Special Investigation Team

Dumka: A man, who was kidnapped for ransom on Monday, was rescued within 24 hours by a special investigation team (SIT), the district police said on Tuesday. Rajeev Ranjan, a Deoghar resident, was abducted for a ransom of Rs 5 lakh. The SIT, led by SDPO Vijay Kumar Mahato, rescued the man and arrested five of his abductors after a raid.

A car and a bike were seized from the abductors.
