Talking to NDTV, Dhruv Vikram opened up about his debut film 'Adithya Varma' and said that he don't regret doing the movie.

“I don’t regret doing Adithya Varma, but it was an exact remake of 'Arjun Reddy', and everyone knew what was going to happen," said Dhruv during the interview.The actor further said that 'Adithya Varma' was only his acting that was different, and the upcoming film 'Bison' is where he shoulders the film and plays the protagonist.
"I have committed several years to training and working hard for the role,” said the 'Bison' actor.
Dhruv said he and father Vikram has not yet watched 'Bison'
Speaking about the Diwali release, Dhruv expressed both excitement and nervousness. “I feel honored that it is my 'Bison' that’s releasing for Diwali this year," says Dhruv.The actor said that both he and his dad, the superstar Vikram, have not yet watched 'Bison'. "I’ll be in the theatre nervously holding my mom and dad’s hands and watching it,” he said.
Opening up on his bond with his father, Dhruv added that Vikram’s guidance has been invaluable. “Dad has always been there for me, especially when I suffered injuries. He used to keep me motivated," said Dhruv.Dhruv further said that his parents wanted him to do 'Bison' with the hope that it would be good for his career. Dhruv hopes to make them proud after not being a “great student” in school.
Early praise from director Ram
The film, releasing in theaters on October 17, has already created major buzz. At the pre-release event, 'Bison' director Mari Selvaraj revealed that filmmaker Ram, his former mentor, praised the project highly after watching it. “This is the best film that Mari Selvaraj has made, and the director has evolved well through the Dhruv Vikram starrer,” Ram reportedly said.
