In the wake of 'Dhurandhar's' phenomenal popularity, the creators are tactfully capitalizing on the momentum for both parts to negotiate enticing satellite and broadcast deals. They are currently in talks for a joint agreement, with the first installment set to premiere on March 31, followed by the second part on March 19, exactly 117 days later.
Aditya Dhar's 'Dhurandhar' became a massive blockbuster, and now the audience is eagerly waiting for part 2 of the movie. And as per the reports, the makers of the spy movie and the filmmaker want to leverage the hype around the first and the second installments to crack a deal for satellite rights, DTH, cable, and other transmission mediums.
'Dhurandhar' Parts 1 and 2 broadcast rights likely to be sold as a package
According to the Mid-Day report, Aditya Dhar and the production house have started discussions with satellite channels. A source told the publication, "While the first part is expected to start airing from March 31, the second installment—that hits theaters on March 19—will make its way to TV screens only 117 days, roughly almost four months, after its release. The team is finalizing worldwide transmission deals, except for the territories of China, Taiwan, and Macau.
"As per the report, the makers are in discussion to secure the rights for both installments together, though part two is yet to arrive in theaters. Reportedly, the license date for 'Dhurandhar' will start from March 31, 2026.Earlier, film trade analyst Taran Adarsh had called the joint deal a "practical decision." He added that in the past several producers have made such deals to get a good amount. The report quoted him saying, "Since 'Dhurandhar' has broken many records, the makers can demand what they want."

The second part of the film has been titled 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge'. Reportedly, the makers have incorporated Akshaye Khanna's character in the second installment as well, in the form of flashback sequences. And if the latest reports are to be believed, Aditya Dhar has also planned a special appearance of Vicky Kaushal's 'Uri' character in 'Dhurandhar 2'.The film features
