Did Deepika Padukone just react to exit from 'Kalki 2898 AD' sequel? Netizens feel so, as she shares advice given to her by Shah Rukh Khan

eepika Padukone has been in the news for her exit from 'Kalki 2898 AD' sequel with Prabhas. The makers of the film penned a note which read, "This is to officially announce that @deepikapadukone will not be a part of the upcoming sequel of #Kalki2898AD.

After careful consideration, we have decided to part ways.

Despite the long journey of making the first film, we were unable to find a partnership. And a film like @Kalki2898AD deserves that commitment and much more. We wish her the best with her future projects."This came after Deepika's exit from Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 'Spirit'. There's been a lot of chatter around it as many felt that it was due to Deepika's demands. Some speculated that she's asked for more money and demanded lesser working hours. Meanwhile, some said that Deepika's role was reduced to a mere cameo. While these are just speculations, Deepika has now broken silence in a cryptic way. She dropped a photo while holding Shah Rukh Khan's hand and announced that she's begun shooting for 'King'.

She wrote that the very first lesson she learnt from Shah Rukh Khan when she made her debut with him that the experience of making a movie and people who you're working with is what really matters. She said, "The very first lesson he taught me almost 18 years ago while filming Om Shanti Om was that the experience of making a movie, and the people you make it with, matter far more than its success.

I couldn’t agree more and have applied that learning to every decision I’ve made since. And that’s probably why we’re back making our 6th movie together?"She tagged SRK and wrote, "#King and #Day1" in her post. For those not in the know, 'King' stars Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Suhana Khan, Abhay Verma and sees Rani Mukerji and Deepika Padukone in extended cameos which are pivotal to the movie.

Netizens reacted to Deepika's note. A user said, "I'm so glad that u spoke up! I love you ❤️" Another one wrote, "May you be the best always , no downturn can touch you 🧿❤️🙏🏻" However, Ranveer Singh had the sweetest comment on it. He said, "Bestest Besties! 😇🧿♥️" Meanwhile, amidst Deepika's exit, director Nag Ashwin also reacted to it. He wrote, "You can’t change what happened, but you can choose what happens next."
