Actress Meera Nandan is one of the most liked actresses in Mollywood. Not just as an actress, but she also grabbed attention as a singer. But did you know she started her career as a contestant on the popular reality show? Yes, you heard it right.

Meera Nandan had auditioned for the popular reality show Super Star. In a viral throwback video, Meera can be seen giving an audition to music directors Deepak Dev and Alphonse. Apparently, the singer-actress couldn't make it to the competition then. In the video, the duo can be seen roasting Meera in their signature humour.

But the real twist happened next. Further, in 2007, Meera auditioned for the popular show Star Singer. But, this time, the climax was different; though she couldn't get into the competition as a contestant, she got selected as the co-host of the show.

Within a short time, Meera managed to grab the attention of the telly audience, and this paved her way to the big screen too.Despite being busy with her movie projects, Meera was keen on taking up the role of the anchor in shows like Lal Salam. Lastly, she was seen hosting the comedy show 'Cook with Comedy.'In the movie space, Meera made her debut playing the lead in the Lal Jose directorial 'Mulla.' Further, she was seen playing meaty roles in movies like Puthiya Mugham, Mallu Singh, and more. Not just in Malayalam, Meera has also done a handful of movies in Tamil and Telugu. Currently, she is seen busy with her RJ stint in Ajman.
