A Russian woman was rescued from a dangerous cave in Karnataka's Gokarna last week. She has defended her decision to live there with her children.

Nina Kutina, a Russian woman who was rescued from a cave in the Ramateertha hills in Karnataka’s Gokarna along with her two daughters, has backed her stay at the dangerous place, stating they have experience of living in the forests of nearly 20 countries.
She said that she had not taken her children to the forest to die, claiming that the little kids were “very happy".
“We have a lot of experience staying in nature, and we were not dying. I did not bring my children to die in the jungle. They were very happy," she told the news agency ANI.
