Dipika Kakar shares how she couldn’t welcome sister-in-law Saba’s son Haider properly post his birth; says ‘There was so much of stress back then’

Actress Dipika Kakar, who is currently battling second-stage liver tumour cancer, opened up emotionally in her sister-in-law Saba Ibrahim’s latest vlog. The heartfelt moment came during the celebration of Dipika’s son Ruhaan’s second birthday, which was a relaxed and joyful family gathering.

Dipika lovingly took Saba’s son Haider on her lap and shared a long-pending emotional connect.“I could finally sit with him properly and play with him,” Dipika smiled, holding baby Haider close. Saba, who was also present, added, “Bhabhi saw him before, but today on Ruhaan’s birthday, we are all relaxing and spoke and chilled together.”Dipika then opened up about why she couldn’t be there for Haider's birth, revealing, “There was so much of stress back then.

So many things happened, he was born and I couldn’t even welcome him properly.”Saba supported her with warmth and gratitude, saying, “It was all because of you that I could handle everything so smoothly. I had no idea. Before you went to the ICU, I had texted you, but you had already slept and didn’t see the message. I kept waiting for your reply.”Dipika added emotionally, “I was just so eager that I should be able to guide you and tell you things.”

To which Saba responded, “You had shared everything prior and that’s why I didn’t feel stressed out after coming home.”For those unaware, Saba went into labour while Dipika was undergoing surgery. Despite not being physically present, Dipika had already given Saba detailed guidance for delivery and post-partum care.Now reunited, the family recently celebrated Shoaib Ibrahim and Ruhaan’s birthdays back-to-back, embracing togetherness, love, and a sense of healing after tough times.
