Trent Rockets endured a painful weekend in The Hundred, with two players suffering serious injuries in the space of just two days. The most alarming came on Saturday at Trent Bridge, where Adam Hose dislocated his ankle during the clash against Southern Brave. The incident occurred late in the first innings when the batter was fielding. Hose attempted to stop a firm shot from Michael Bracewell but lost his footing and twisted his ankle awkwardly. The live images showed him in serious pain as medical staff rushed in. A screen was quickly put up around him before he was carried off and taken to hospital.

Reports later confirmed that Hose had suffered a dislocated ankle, an injury that could take several weeks to recover from.
On Sunday, the batter shared an update on Instagram, posting a picture of his heavily bandaged foot.

The Hundred and his county side Worcestershire CCC also sent their support. Several supporters also shared messages of support and wished the player a speedy recovery.
Despite Hose’s absence, the Rockets finished the game strongly. Tom Banton struck 49 from 38 balls, while Tom Moores powered a 30-ball 55 to guide them to victory.
Days earlier, the team had also seen Tom Alsop suffer a nasty injury against London Spirit. Facing Jamie Overton, Alsop was beaten for pace as the ball snuck through the helmet grill and struck him just above the nose.
