District-Level school reopening festival in Thrissur today 

After the summer break, schools are all set to welcome students back with vibrant festivities as part of the Praveshanolsavam (School Reopening Festival). Marking the beginning of the 2025–26 academic year, the district-level celebration will take place at GVHSS Puthur on Monday.

The event will be formally inaugurated at 10 a.m. by Revenue Minister K. Rajan. District Panchayat president V.S. Prince will preside over the function.

District Collector Arjun Pandyan, vice-president of the District Panchayat Latha Chandran, Education Standing Committee chairperson Raheem Veetiparambil and others will attend as special guests.

The event will also see participation from elected representatives, teachers, officials, and students.
