Chicago Bears beat reporter Herb Howard reported on X that wide receiver DJ Moore left the Northwest Stadium in an ambulance following the conclusion of the game. Wide receivers coach Antwaan Randle El accompanied him.

Bears senior writer Larry Mayer reported that Moore would be staying overnight in the DC area for precautionary medical attention. The Bears would give an update soon.

How was DJ Moore hurt during the Bears vs Commanders Week 6 matchup?

DJ Moore was carrying the ball in the first half of the Week 6 game when Washington Commanders cornerback Trey Amos undercut him. At the same time, safety Darnell Savage Jr. pushed him forward from behind—the combination of the undercut and the push caused Moore to be launched into the air before landing hard on his left hip.

The incident, which appeared to result in his injury, was captured by SM Highlights and shared on X.

After the game, the team announced that Moore had been taken to a local hospital in an ambulance for a precautionary medical evaluation and would remain there overnight. Moore got up carefully after he was tackled hard while carrying the ball.

Though he was seen grimacing on the sidelines, he stayed in the game and finished with three catches for 42 yards on five targets.
