Doctors spread green message

Espousing the cause of the environment, members of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) Karimnagar chapter, planted saplings and conducted a plastic waste clean-up drive at the IMA’s Harithaharam site in Karimnagar on Thursday.

The event was organised in association with the Karimagar Obstetrics and Gynaecological Society (KOGS) on the occasion of World Environment Day to amplify the message of environmental awareness and foster collective efforts to end plastic pollution.

IMA Karimnagar chapter president Dr. Naresh Anamalla, KOGS secretary M.S.L. Sravanthi and former IMA State president B. N. Rao among others took part in the sapling plantation-cum-environmental awareness programme.
