US President Donald Trump does not want more military engagement in the Middle East, reported CNN.

This came nearly an hour after Iran on Monday launched missiles towards the military bases of the United States in Qatar and Iraq.

The United States confirmed the attack and said that there were no reports of US casualties.

“Al Udeid Air Base was attacked by short-range and medium-range ballistic missiles originating from Iran today. At this time, there are no reports of US casualties. We are monitoring the situation closely and will provide more information as it becomes available," according to an official statement by US.
