FIR filed at Jnanabharathi police station

According to a report by TOI Bengaluru, Pavithra filed the FIR on September 1, claiming that she was harassed for dowry post her marriage to Pavan, which began in 2021. Pavithra's allegations against husband and in-laws

"Since Pavan hasn't completed his degree, he has no job. So, I started working to look after the family," she stated. "Despite receiving the dowry, they assaulted me and demanded more money," Pavithra told police.Additionally, the complaint also suggests Pavan allegedly took Rs 1 lakh from Pavithra and Rs 75,000 from Pavithra's mother to buy a car.It is also reported that the police officials have issued notices to Narayan, Bhagyavathi, and Pavan to appear for investigation.DISCLAIMER: If you or someone you know is experiencing domestic violence, assault, or abuse, please seek immediate help.
