The gaming world has been buzzing since the second GTA VI trailer was out, and while the fans await the delayed game’s release, the speculations seem to have come to no end. One such speculation about Rockstar Games strategy for delaying the launch comes from Herschel 'Guy' Beahm, well-known as DrDisRespect.
The popular yet controversial streamer’s tantalizing theory challenges Rockstar Games rollout patterns on established platforms. DrDisRespect GTA 6 rumors ignited a discussion, focusing squarely on the potential GTA 6 release date plans of Rockstar Games.
DrDisRespect drops GTA 6 simultaneous launch bombshell
While reacting to the 2nd GTA VI trailer, DrDisRespect shifted the focus from game visuals to the potential launch strategy of Rockstar Games. Popularly known for his persona, Beahm abruptly started a conspiracy, claiming some insider knowledge, stating, “The reason why GTA 6 was delayed for a year is because they want to launch it on PC at the same time as consoles.” He then emphatically declared it a scoop, urging the viewers to know and to remember they heard it for the first time from him. The direct challenge to the history of staggered releases by Rockstar Games sent shockwaves through massive audiences.
DRDISRESPECT REACTS TO GTA 6 TRAILER
With the start of the conspiracy, a fan on his video commented, “Peak editing and reminds me of 2020. Bring this back!!” while the other one said, “THE PREDITOR IS BACK.”

Claims made by Beahm hinge on the official delay announcement, which pushed the GTA VI release from 2025 to May 2026 (not on PC).
While Rockstar Games has not confirmed anything yet, this idea is not far-fetched. The studio previously faced a lot of criticism, in the past, to make PC players wait years for ports. Simultaneous release can be a strategic move for maximized sales and hype, especially given the unprecedented anticipation of GTA VI.
Official stance fuels DrDisRespect speculations further
Rockstar Games officially confirmed the delay for GTA VI via social media, citing a need for some extra time to meet the quality expectations.
They even reiterated the May 26, 2026 launch date. Crucially, however, no official communications have been made on the release window of the GTA 6 PC launch. The silence left a significant gap, which the rumors like the one by DrDisRespect do readily fill. Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnich previously even added the fuel to it all, vaguely noting that Rockstar Games has “an approach to platforms” that has been seen before.
He promised more announcements later on.Industry analysts widely predict the launch of the game on PC, trailing GTA 6 console release, by 6 to 12 months, as per the track record of Rockstar with Red Dead Redemption 2 and GTA V. The theory of DrDisRespect directly contradicts the expectation, and this intense interest does ensure an official word on PC timing would be seismic news. As of now, Rockstar Game’s silence and the bold claims made around ensure simultaneous launch rumors will persist until any concrete details emerge.
