The tour revisits the band’s long career, which has seen it emerge as one of the most influential names in progressive metal worldwide.The India leg of the tour will include two shows. Dream Theater will perform in Bengaluru in January followed by a concert in Kolkata on February. According to organisers, the setlists are expected to span multiple phases of the band’s career, reflecting its evolution over the years.The tour also carries significance for long-time listeners as it features the band’s classic lineup, with guitarist John Petrucci, vocalist James LaBrie, bassist John Myung, keyboardist Jordan Rudess, and founding drummer Mike Portnoy, who has rejoined the group.Reflecting on the upcoming shows, LaBrie said the band was looking forward to returning to India and sharing the anniversary milestone with local audiences. Organisers highlighted Bengaluru’s established live music circuit and Kolkata’s growing presence on the international concert map as key factors behind the choice of cities.
