Drew Peterson of Boston Celtics signs two-way contract with Charlotte Hornets

Boston Celtics power forward Drew Peterson has signed a two-way contract with the Charlotte Hornets. The NBA champion from last season had previously been coached by Hornets head coach Charles Lee, who was with the Celtics two seasons ago.

Their past relationship is believed to have played a role in this new deal. Under the two-way contract, Peterson will split his time between the Hornets and their NBA G League affiliate.
