Director Jeethu Joseph is working with superstar Mohanlal on the highly anticipated third installment of 'Drishyam'. Recently, he gave an update on the film's release strategy. The filmmaker revealed the details about whether the makers are releasing 'Drishyam 3' simultaneously across multiple languages.In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Jeethu confirmed that producers of the Hindi and Telugu versions of Drishyam have shown interest in a coordinated release. "The makers of the Hindi and Telugu versions have asked whether we can release the film simultaneously," the director said, adding that such a move could have both benefits and challenges.The Drishyam franchise has a massive fan base across India, with all versions, particularly the Hindi remake starring Ajay Devgn and the Telugu adaptation led by Venkatesh, enjoying massive success.

Malayalam version currently in production
He also confirmed that the Malayalam version of 'Drishyam 3' is currently in production, with Mohanlal reprising his iconic role as Georgekutty. "For now, we're continuing with our shoot. By the time we finish, if a decision has been made, we'll proceed accordingly.
Otherwise, we’ll release the Malayalam version first, just like before," he said.
'Drishyam 3' Pooja ceremony
The pooja ceremony for 'Drishyam 3' was held on September 22 this year at Sree Narayana Law College, Poothotta, Ernakulam, officially marking the start of the film's shooting. The event was attended by lead actor Mohanlal, director Jeethu Joseph, and producer Antony Perumbavoor. Mohanlal shared photos from the traditional lamp-lighting ritual on social media.
