Seat allotment list releasing on this date

Delhi University has officially released the schedule for Phase 2 of the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) 2025 for undergraduate admissions. Following the completion of Phase 1, where students submitted personal and academic details, Phase 2 will now focus on the crucial step of course and college preference selection.

This stage plays a decisive role in seat allocation across DU’s colleges. Students must participate in this phase actively to secure admission. The first seat allocation list will be released on July 15, 2025. All steps will take place online via ugadmission.uod.ac.in, ensuring a streamlined, remote admission experience.

Course and college preference selection window

Phase 2 will begin with the opening of the preference filling window from July 8, 2025. During this time, candidates must log in to the DU UG admission portal and carefully select their preferred combinations of courses and colleges.

This is a one-time opportunity—once preferences are submitted and locked, they cannot be edited. Students are advised to study past cut-offs, seat availability, and eligibility requirements to make informed choices that best align with their CUET scores and aspirations.

First seat allocation list date

The university will announce the first CSAS seat allotment list on July 15. After the results are published, selected candidates must accept their allotted seat between the dates specified by the university through the portal.

During this period, respective colleges will also verify the uploaded documents. Once the verification is successful, students must pay the admission fee to confirm their seat. Failure to accept or complete payment within the stipulated time will lead to cancellation of the allotment.

Additional rounds of allotment

After the first round, Delhi University will conduct further allocation rounds depending on seat vacancies across its colleges. Details for these rounds, including dates and guidelines, will be released in due course on the official website. Students who don’t receive a seat in the first list or wish to upgrade must actively participate in the subsequent rounds. Regularly checking the portal and DU notifications is essential to avoid missing important deadlines.
