As Eid al-Adha approaches in 2025, Dubai Municipality has announced extended operating hours for public parks, recreational areas, and leisure facilities across the emirate to help residents and visitors make the most of the festive season.

From June 5 to June 8, major parks including Zabeel, Creek Park, Al Mamzar, Al Safa, and Mushrif Park will remain open later than usual, allowing families to enjoy outdoor activities well into the evening. This initiative is part of Dubai’s efforts to promote safe, family-friendly “Eid adventures” and encourage community engagement during the public holidays.

Health and safety measures at abattoirs

Dubai Municipality has emphasized health and safety at official abattoirs during Eid.

Four key abattoirs—Al Qusais, Al Quoz, Al Lisaili, and Hatta—will be fully operational from 7:30am to 4pm throughout the holiday period, equipped with veterinary checks, sterilization systems, and trained staff.


Smart booking and regulation

Authorities are encouraging the public to use smart booking apps and home delivery services to regulate livestock markets and prevent unauthorized slaughtering. These measures aim to maintain safety and hygiene while supporting the cultural practices of Eid al-Adha.
