In a touching moment, tech billionaire Elon Musk responded to a set of questions from a 15-year-old cancer patient, whose “biggest dream" was to meet him in person, just days after her death.

Conservative commentator Glenn Beck shared the story of Liv Perrotto on X, revealing that she “had a chance to speak" with Musk. However, due to her deteriorating health condition, she felt exhausted at the time and asked the tech mogul to call back later. Unfortunately, she passed away before that could happen, Beck said.

At 15 years old, Liv Perrotto’s biggest dream was to meet @elonmusk. She had even written out a list of questions to ask him. Her mother @rebeccaperrotto told me that just days before she passed away from cancer, she had a chance to speak with Elon, but she was too tired and… pic.twitter.com/zTRMreMFhM— Glenn Beck (@glennbeck) April 16, 2026

Before her death, the teenager wrote down eight questions for the Tesla CEO in a notebook kept by her bedside. Her mother, Rebecca, later passed the list to Beck, hoping Musk might still see and respond to her daughter’s thoughts.

What Teen Asked Musk

The questions reflected a mix of curiosity and creativity. The teen girl asked about potential plans for a Tesla phone, expansion of the Tesla Diner, and new gaming features in Tesla updates. She also inquired about Musk’s favorite anime, his visits to Japan, whether he was familiar with virtual pop star Hatsune Miku, and if the Grok AI companion “Ani" drew inspiration from the character “Misa" in the manga series “Death Note."

Her final question carried a personal touch—she asked whether “Asteroid," a Shiba Inu zero-gravity indicator plush she had designed for the Polaris Dawn mission, could become SpaceX’s official mascot.

The post quickly gained traction online, drawing widespread attention. Shortly after, Musk responded directly, answering each question. While he ruled out making a phone, he confirmed plans to expand the Tesla Diner and introduce new games. He also shared that his favorite anime is “Your Name" and that he has visited Japan multiple times.

With a simple “OK" and a smiley face, Musk agreed to name her plushie the space company’s official mascot. Reacting to the gesture, Rebecca wrote, “I wish she was here to see this."

Internet Reacts

Musk’s response has won praise on the internet. “I feel very fortunate to live in a time where we get to experience the genius, empathy and innovation of Elon Musk. For an absolute workaholic to take a little time to answer these questions for this beautiful girl is heart warming," a user commented.

“Elon Musk is one helleva great man. He touches many lives daily but has a huge heart filled with humility in the face of significant challenges as great as fulfilling a dying girls wish. Over 50k women die daily from disease. Elon cares enough to reach out," another user wrote.
