EO inspects pilgrim facilities at Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Temple

Sri Durga Malleswara Swamyvarla Devasthnam Executive Officer (EO) V.K. Seena Naik on Friday (July 4) inspected the various facilities at the hill shrine.

The EO visited the steps route to Sri Malleswara Swamy, drinking water arrangements, cloakrooms, footwear deposit areas and pongal sheds along the ghat road. Interacting with devotees, he sought feedback on the available amenities and instructed temple staff to take immediate corrective measures wherever needed.

During the inspection, the EO observed unhygienic conditions near prasadam counters along the ghat road and directed the sanitation staff to ensure cleanliness in those areas. He emphasised that swift action should be taken to maintain a clean and orderly environment for devotees.

Later, at the donor’s lodge, the EO reviewed donation records. He also advised the administrative team to strengthen mechanisms for pilgrims to lodge complaints directly with the officials.
