HYDERABAD: Pre-engineered and prefabricated building solutions manufacturer EPACK Prefab Technologies Limited has opened its new sandwich panel manufacturing facility at Mambattu, near Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh.The new plant, which has been built on an over 2.83 lakh sq ft land parcel with a built-up area of a little over 1.49 lakh sq ft, has a capacity to manufacture 8 lakh sq metres per annum of sandwich panel.The new facility, set up at an investment of around Rs 56 crore, will take the company’s total sandwich panel production capacity to 13.1 lakh sqm per annum.The new plant, equipped with a fully automated, continuous production line capable of manufacturing PUR/PIR and rockwool panels, has been set up on the back of surging demand for sandwich panels across sectors such as cold storage, food processing, cleanrooms, and industrial infrastructure.EPACK Prefab managing director & CEO Sanjay Singhania said the facility will serve as a southern hub to power critical sectors like cold chain, food processing, and industrial warehousing, while enhancing the company’s national footprint.He said the company is eyeing a 30–35% market share in the prefabricated sandwich panel segment by the end of this financial year with the setting up of its new plant.
